Hello! My name is Danika and I am the groomer at Dogs & Compagnie. I started out in the pet industry as a kennel attendant in 2018. In 2020, I discovered my love for dog grooming. Like everyone else, I started an apprenticeship program as a dog bather/brusher and gradually made my way to a full groomer in August 2021.
My love for dogs was always something natural. I always grew up with a dog in the house. My partner and I have recently adopted a 6yr old German shepherd/husky mix named Princess.
Grooming is my greatest passion. I am thankful for the furry babies I get to meet every day and my clients that trust me to pamper up their pooches. The bonds I get to create with the dogs I meet are something that I cherish every day.

Puppy Introduction

This will likely be the first grooming experience your pup will have. With the “Puppy Introduction package”, we focus on making everything a positive experience for their first time. This package includes the following:
- Bath with hypoallergenic puppy shampoo
- Blow Dry
- Nail Clipping
- Ear Cleaning (plucking if necessary)
- Trim of visor, sanitary, and pads/feet
*Prices vary based on breed, size, behavior, coat condition, and requested services
*No body shaving will be done with this package; the body length stays the same
Bath and brush

Is your dog a swimmer? Or likes to roll in the mud? Do you find your dog is shedding uncontrollably? This is the package for him. This will leave your dog feeling fresh and clean. This package includes the following:
Bath with specially selected shampoo and conditioner based on need (details below)
- Blow Dry
- Brush out (dematting and full deshed extra)
- Nail clipping (nail grind on request)
- Ear cleaning (plucking if necessary)
*Prices vary based on breed, size, behavior, coat condition, and requested services

This package is ideal for any double coated breeds as well as any shedding breeds which need an in-between grooming. This package includes the following:
Bath with specially selected shampoo and conditioner based on need (details below)
- Blow Dry
- Nail clipping (nail grind on request)
- Ear cleaning (plucking if necessary)
- Trim of visor, sanitary, and pads/feet
*Prices vary based on breed, size, behavior, coat condition, and requested services
*No body shaving will be done with this package; the body length stays the same
Full groom
Full groom
This package includes everything in a bath and tidy as well as shaving of the body and legs. A discussion with the groomer on length will be taking place during drop off on the day of the appointment. This package includes the following:
Bath with specially selected shampoo and conditioner based on need (details below)
- Blow Dry
- Nail clipping (nail grind on request)
- Ear cleaning (plucking if necessary)
- Haircut (dematting/pelt removal extra)
*Prices vary based on breed, size, behavior, coat condition, and requested services
*Please note that this package is only intended for dogs without a double coat

We do our best to accommodate every dog we can. We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds up to 160lbs. However, we will not groom a dog if we do not feel safe. Please let us know upon initial consultation any history of aggression or previous issues with grooming. If your dog concerns us upon arrival, or changes mood during their appointment, we will let you know as quickly as possible.

A: On your first visit with us we need the following:
- Proof of vaccination for bortadella, rabies, and distemper combo (DHPP).
- If your dog is too young for vaccinations let us know, and we will ensure your pup is kept separate during his appointment.
- In subsequent visits, please let us know if anything has changed with your dog's health that might affect their grooming service.

A: Please contact for pricing. Pricing varies based on breed, size, behavior, coat condition, and requested services.

A: Absolutely, you are welcome to wait for your dog in the parking lot. We do not allow parents to be present during the grooming appointment to reduce external excitement.

A: We recommend that your dog gets groomed every 6-12 weeks.

A: Everything will depend on your pet and services that will be provided. We will do our best to give you an approximate time when your pup is dropped off; Expect a 1-3 hour wait. We will call you 10-15 minutes before your dog is ready.

A: No, not at this time. However, we are happy to do nail trims. Please call and make an appointment.

A: Yes, upon request.
Q: What happens if my dog is matted?
Q: What happens if my dog is matted?
A: Call us to make a grooming appointment to remove any matting. Some matting can be removed without shaving. However, if the matting is too severe based on the requested hair length for your dog, we will discuss this with you upon drop-off. We charge $10-20 depending on the time it takes to remove the matting.
Q: Do you groom dogs with a double coat?
Q: Do you groom dogs with a double coat?
A: Yes, we can perform most services (bath and deshedding) except for the Full Groom, as a double coat will not grow back properly if shaved. We can consult upon arrival if your double coated dog needs dematting; we can attempt to brush out the spot if your dog is matted. However, if it is severe enough, the select spot will need to be shaved.
